UT Law Expunction Project

The University of Texas School of Law is offering free legal assistance to help individuals expunge eligible criminal records. The following types of criminal records may be eligible for expunction: 

  • An arrest for a crime that was never charged;
  • A criminal charge that was dismissed; and
  • Certain misdemeanor juvenile offenses, such as non-traffic Class C tickets, conviction of a minor for certain alcohol and tobacco offenses, and conviction for Failure to Attend School.
