Faith-based Leaders Convening

April 28, 2022 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 am

Free

The Austin/Travis County Reentry Roundtable is hosting an in-person convening of faith-based leaders centered on the intersection between faith communities and jail and prison reentry. We are gathering to highlight the impact of faith communities on individuals leaving jail and prison, to explore what area faith communities are already doing to support those in reentry, to help make connections between faith leaders to coordinate efforts, and to work together to develop direct actions faith communities can take to support those in reentry. The event will feature speakers who have lived experience navigating reentry while deeply engaged in a faith community.

The event will take place at The Rock ATX (12224 Jourdan Crossing Blvd, Austin, TX 78753) on Thursday, April 28th from 8:30-11:30am. Breakfast will be provided.

Please RSVP by April 21st. This event is intended for faith community leaders as well as staff and volunteer ministry leaders.  Please contact info@reentryroundtable.org with any questions.
